Outdoor Therapy

Feel more grounded, connected, and at ease — outside four walls.

For many of us, being in nature brings a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Outdoor therapy offers the chance to step away from screens and enclosed spaces, and into a more spacious,

grounded environment for reflection and healing.

Why Choose Outdoor Therapy?

It can feel less intense – talking side-by-side while walking can be more comfortable than sitting face-to-face.

Movement helps process emotions – walking stimulates both body and mind, and can help shift stuck thoughts or feelings.

Nature is a co-therapist – trees, weather, open sky – all offer metaphors, anchoring, and moments of quiet that support the therapeutic process.

It reconnects you – to your body, to the present moment, and often to something larger than yourself.

What Happens in an Outdoor Session?

Outdoor sessions usually involve walk-and-talk therapy in a local natural space (we'll agree on a location in advance).

We might walk slowly, pause to sit, or even stay in one spot depending on what’s needed.

The pace and focus are always guided by you.

You don’t need to be “outdoorsy” – just open to exploring in a slightly different way.

Is Outdoor Therapy Right for Me?

Outdoor therapy may be especially supportive if you:

Feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in your head

Prefer side-by-side connection over face-to-face

Struggle with enclosed spaces

Crave a sense of freedom or movement

Already feel a connection to nature (or want to build one)
