What Kind of Therapy Do I Offer?

I offer therapy primarily using Transactional Analysis (TA), a psychological theory and therapy method developed by Eric Berne in the 1950s.

TA focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and communication. It's based on the idea that our personality is made up of three 'ego states' - Parent, Adult, and Child - which influence how we interact with others. By analysing these interactions, TA helps individuals identify and change unproductive patterns, fostering healthier and more effective relationships.

How Do I Offer Therapy?

To suit different needs, I offer therapy in three formats:

In-Person Therapy (Indoors)

Traditional face-to-face therapy from my private room in Loughborough.

A quiet, grounded space for exploring whatever brings you to therapy.

Online Therapy

Secure video sessions for clients who prefer to work from home or live further away.

Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person work, and offers more flexibility.

Outdoor / Walk-and-Talk Therapy

For those who feel more at ease outside four walls, I also offer therapy in nature.

These sessions involve walking side-by-side in a local green space or simply being outdoors together.

Nature-based therapy can be grounding, less intense, and can help bring new perspectives – especially for clients feeling stuck, burnt out, or overwhelmed.

Outdoor sessions are weather dependent and we’ll agree on location and practicalities together.
